At Bakermat, we’ve reimagined the sourcing process with RE/SOURCE – a textile fair designed for students, brands, and designers to explore, select, and buy directly from the stock of our textile partners. Our mission is simple: to transform sourcing and material development into a transparent, efficient, and sustainable journey for creatives everywhere.
In addition to fabric samples, RE/SOURCE offers in-depth presentations on participating textile manufacturers, showcasing their expertise, production methods, and overall approach to the industry. It’s not just about selecting fabrics; it’s about fostering meaningful relationships between creators and fabric mills long before they’re ready to place production orders. These early connections build trust and lay the foundation for sustainable future partnerships.
How does it work?
Twice a year, we bring RE/SOURCE to various universities across Europe, offering a full day to explore fabric swatches from our textile partners. You can browse the selection, compile your order, and buy fabrics starting from just one meter—no minimum quantities required. Once the event ends, we gather all orders and send them to our partners, who prepare and ship the fabrics to our Bakermat shop. Your order will be ready for pickup within 2-3 weeks. If you can’t make it to Antwerp, we offer delivery to your location for a small fee.
