Description
A medium-weight Kasuri fabric, crafted from 100% cotton. Similar to ‘shimamono,’ it features gradient stripes made up of shades of the same color, reminiscent of vertically striped cotton brought from foreign countries. Rooted in traditional Japanese Kasuri craftsmanship, this fabric is originally designed for kimonos but finds application in modern contexts such as shirting, trousers, jackets, or interior purposes. Please note: according to tradition this fabric is only 39cm wide.
