JAN JAN VAN ESSCHE LEFTOVER WOOL & SILK VOILE

A lightweight twill woven voile wool & silk blend. This fabric is part of the leftover collection of Jan Jan Van Essche and has a silky soft finish and a drape. ‘Voile’ comes from the French word ‘veil’ and is traditionally made of cotton or linen to create veils. This fabric being 70% boiled wool and 30% silk, is warmer and slightly heavier than traditional voiles and results in a fabric that can be used to create your more draped garments.
